Baby Shower

My very best friend is having a baby boy named Kipton. <3 Brittani and I have been friends since I was in the womb, ha. My mom would lay B on her belly and she said I would just kick and move around! We are hilarious when we're together. We still pee ourselves laughing... well its been about a year since we've had to change our pants. ;)

I treasure her friendship, she is my second sister. I don't know how to express my love for her for you to understand. Her family is my family and vice versa. She is going to be an amazing mommy and Big B will be an awesome Dad. Here are a few pictures of the first shower, didn't get any of the others.

Post Thanksgiving

If you haven't already, you NEED to watch the movie The Help. Love Love Love! We should all remind ourselves and others that we are kind, smart, and important- DAILY. I see so many girls, young women, and ladies who forget this and make regretful decisions. We're put on this earth to build each other up, not tear each other down.

Okay Im off my soapbox.

Thanksgiving... Was brutal to my waistline. I gained 3 pounds in ONE SITTING and NO I am not kidding.

We had fried turkey, honey ham, mac n cheese, sweet peas, potato salad, yam, broccoli casserole, dressing, banana pudding, sweet potato pie, peach enchiladas and it was all divine. My sister has these little quirky food things she does... Ever since she was able to eat it's gotta be mixed a certain way. For example Thanksgiving she made her roll into a ham sandwich with SWEET PEAS. I wish I could say I didn't like it, but I do too.

How was your thanksgiving?

Sales

Supposedly most of the retailers are going to have ridiculous sales like never before. I'm not sure if its legit or not. I can't find a good website that shows the ads. I read somewhere that Gap Inc (BR, Gap, OldNavy) will be open at 12am, but didn't see or hear about the sales. I don't know whether or not to go and try not to get trampled or to wait until Monday and see these "cyber deals".

What are you doing? Have you heard of great deals or stores to check out?
I need a game plan, help!

If you haven't already, sign up for Bloggin' Secret Santa! It's going to be fun!

YES! I was one of those people who went to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn. My mom, sister, and I have gone to every midnight showing since it began. I loved every second of it. We're all on "team Jacob" in this family..YES, we know Bella and Jake wont be together, but I do love to see him rip his shirt off. It gets me EVERY time.

Pint Sized Pies

I don't have the friendliest neighbors. My next door neighbors on the left are an older british couple who I've seen maybe three times in 14 months. On the right side there is a mid-thirties couple who are nice, but they seem to be gone a lot. I complain all the time about it. I'm from the south. I was raised and believe when someone moves in you should bake something and introduce yourselfANNGH! That did NOT happen. Last Christmas I made a big Yummy gift and went door to door. That was the only time most of them communicated with me. So I've made it my mission to be all up in there bizzznassI'm preparing Thanksgiving treats to take over next wednesday and I'll also do something for Christmas. This was my first try and I'm so excited to make these for them- they can't not love them! Right?

1) If you've got Grannie's recipe, use it, if not go to the grocery store and buy pie crust. ;)
2) Find something circle in shape that has a diameter of 3.5- 4" and cut the dough.

3) Remove the extra dough carefully

4) Place the dough circle
5) Gently press the dough into the sides of the tin. Smooth any wrinkles that may appear.
6) Add pie filling, I used apple, Fill to the brim of the crust- sticking out the top

7) Decorate the top of the pie how ever you'd like. I cut a heart out, lattice weave, and braided the crust. The possibilities are endless, let your personality shine!

8) Put your pies into the oven for 22-28 minutes or until golden brown.

9) Take out and allow to cool.

10) Plate and Enjoy!
*If you didn't notice- the heart pie is missing... I added vanilla ice-cream. ;) YUMMY*

I can't wait to bring some pizzazz to this place.

Have you ever had neighbor problems? How'd you fix it?
What should I add to the T&T bag Wednesday?

Pinned to Drink.

Yes.. You read that right. Last night I jumped on the band wagon and joined Pinterest. I am kind of sorta regretting it. Its like a I know I shouldn't but it feels so good type situation. I probably spent TWO hours on it last night and had a glass of moscato. If you know me, this is a big deal, I rarely and I do mean rarely drink. J gave me a crazy look when I walked into the office with my glass of wine but ehhh I was like booyah! Want some?

Work It Out Wednesdays

Hola beauties! I want to thank each and everyone one of you who commented on my WOW last week. *Quick Update: A lot of you said that ProActiv worked and still is working- I'm so glad it works for you! I am currently using Cerave Hydrating Cleanser morning and night(which is ahhmazing!!). Along with it at night I use Cerave Moisturizing Lotion PM and a topical cream. So far, so good.

I've gotten several emails over the past couple weeks asking, "What can I do if I don't have a gym membership?" One word. YouTube! Whatever you want to work on there is a video out there. I have several go to videos if I don't make it to the gym that day. Here are a few tips:

1. Comb through videos. (it'll take a while, but its worth it)

2. Make a schedule i.e
-Monday: Shoulder and back
Tuesday: Legs and Booty
Wednesday: Arms
So on and so forth...

3. Don't forget your cardio
(Turn on the music and jig for a half hour, run your neighborhood)

4. Ladies for weights use whatever you have.
- Can of beans
-Bottle of water= ONE POUND (16 oz)

Here is a video, that I found this morning, on making a lean machine stomach!

Do you have any internet go to's?

Now, go on witch bad self and work it out.

Tutti: Bling

I've been dying for a dazzled case for quite sometime, but I couldn't figure out which to buy. There are so many options. I finally ordered one and COUNTED down the days until it was in my hands. I got it and it was for the WRONG PHONE!!!
Bling Case Tutorial
-Cell phone case(doesn't matter what kind, use whatever you want)
-Tweezers
-Glue
-Rhinestones, lots.(different sizes 3mm,4.5..)
Optional- Pendant/flower..its endless.

I started by outlining the case.
Then I arranged my *extras* (flower, pendant). Without glue first. Once you've got them like you want- glue it down!
Next use the smaller sized rhinestones to fill in the gaps.
THIS IS THE MOST TIME CONSUMING PART!

VIOLA! You are now bling-ed out. I am so excited to start on my next one.
LOVE LOVE IT.
