Post Thanksgiving

If you haven't already, you NEED to watch the movie The Help. Love Love Love! We should all remind ourselves and others that we are kind, smart, and important- DAILY. I see so many girls, young women, and ladies who forget this and make regretful decisions. We're put on this earth to build each other up, not tear each other down.

Okay Im off my soapbox.

Thanksgiving... Was brutal to my waistline. I gained 3 pounds in ONE SITTING and NO I am not kidding.

We had fried turkey, honey ham, mac n cheese, sweet peas, potato salad, yam, broccoli casserole, dressing, banana pudding, sweet potato pie, peach enchiladas and it was all divine. My sister has these little quirky food things she does... Ever since she was able to eat it's gotta be mixed a certain way. For example Thanksgiving she made her roll into a ham sandwich with SWEET PEAS. I wish I could say I didn't like it, but I do too.

How was your thanksgiving?

xo,
Summer-Raye

  8. That looks yummy. I've seen the The Help and loved it. That is one of my favorite parts where she quotes that to the little girl. I pigged out like nobodies business this Thanksgiving and enjoyed every minute.

  13. Haha. I'm sure I gained just as much I'm just too much of a chicken to step on the scale. I think Thanksgiving is the only time I can mix foods together but I have to say that sandwich does not look very appetizing.
